THIEF comment on ‚Moon and Kill‘: „This is the second strata of the pit“, mastermind Dylan Neal establishes a connection between the album title and the tracklist. „Its voice oscillates between victim and executioner and its technique is pistol, blade, and asphyxiation. When love and trust collapse, what remains? The same anger and disbelief is experienced by saints and murderers alike. Without the story, there is only this pit clay with which we must mold: weapon or forgiveness.“
