Formed in Tórshavn in 2016 for the Faroese Wacken Metal Battle, Svartsalt is an antifascist blackened death/thrash metal trio stripping away digital gimmicks in favor of raw, organic confrontation. Fusing aggressive death metal, classic black metal, and post-metal structures with Gojira-inspired grooves, the trio channels real-world societal decay into harsh sonic resistance.
