From the underground depths of Trier, ROTTEN SOIL unleash a savage tribute to the glory days of death metal – filthy, furious, and forged in the spirit of the early ’90s Swedish scene.
In 2022, the German band released well received by listeners and media, debut album titled „From Beyond the Grave“. Now, ROTTEN SOIL return with new studio albim „I Worship Death“ which is an eleven-track onslaught of relentless riffs, thunderous drums, and venomous vocals. Written and recorded by the band themselves, the album embodies uncompromising death metal at its core, including a crushing Dismember cover of “Casket Garden.”
Music for the newest record was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström at the legendary Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames) in Sweden. Band logo was done by Christophe Szpajdel (Emperor, Moonspell, Graveland (PL)), while the striking cover artwork was created by Adrián Ribes. Album was released in digital format, CD and limited vinyl on February 27, 2026, and is available for purchase at Bandcamp.
