Hollow Crown is a thematically driven album exploring identity, inner conflict, loss of control, sacrifice and the struggle to define who we are. Its themes progress from self-definition and external conflict through darkness, confrontation and isolation, ultimately leading toward sacrifice and resolution. Musically, Serpent Skies combine melodic death metal with a modern and powerful production, rooted in the Swedish metal tradition while pushing the band’s sound into a new era.
