In 2026, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album ‚Tribe‘, recognized as one of the milestones of Progressive Death Metal, Sadist will play a series of shows in which the entire album, for the very first time, will be performed live. A Vinyl and CD reissue of the same album, which was originally released only on CD, is also planned for the early part of the year.
Meanwhile the band recorded at Nadir Music Studios (Genoa, Italy) their own version of Keith Emerson’s “Mater Tenebrarum” originally composed as the soundtrack to Dario Argento’s movie “Inferno”.
The young and talented soprano Carola Marasco contributed to the production of this new version.
The song is being distributed on the main streaming platforms, and also as a video version on YouTube.
