Born from a cross-continental collaboration between Austria and Québec (Canada), Black Metal trio DÉTRESSE have announced their second full-length album, „Misères“, set for release on October 9, 2026, via Vendetta Records. The announcement is accompanied by the release of the album’s first single, „Verrottet“, offering a first glimpse into the band’s latest work.

Following the release of „Misères“, DÉTRESSE will bring the new material to the stage this winter as part of a European tour alongside Darvaza, Merrimack and Helleruin. The run will take the band across multiple countries and includes appearances at Eindhoven Metal Meeting (Netherlands) and
De Mortem et Diabolum (Germany), bringing the new material to the stage shortly after the album’s release.
