Following their debut EP “Dönsum Í Logans Ljóma”, the young group began shaping a body of work that moves with clear intent beyond first promise. Their new album “Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur” (“Burned Ruins & Raging Shores”) marks the second release on Vesperian and presents a band already operating at a strikingly high level.

The first single “Andvana” (“Breathless”) introduced the band’s sharpened approach, while “Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt” (“The Lord Forgives Everything”) revealed a further sense of scale and intensity.
With “Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur”, FORSMÁN continue Iceland’s black metal tradition without sounding beholden to it. This is the work of a new generation: disciplined, severe, and unmistakably alive.
