news. Prophecy Fest announces new bands for 2026

The holiday season is nearly upon us, so Prophecy Fest proudly presents four new entries on the 2026 billing: In a unique collaboration, iconic vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe, keyboard player Mark Deeks & cello sorceress Jo Quail unite to perform songs of MY DYING BRIDE, ARÐ, and Jo Quail’s own material together. When label and fest founder Martin Koller received the demo of young Danish doom act MAUNAH, they were booked a few hours later, which is a unique occurrence. Going solo is quite unique for SPIRITUAL FRONT frontman Simone Salvatori, but it is going to happen in Balve next year! And NEUN WELTEN will contribute even two unique moments at Prophecy Fest by celebrating 20 years of „Vergessene Pfade“ and also playing an exclusive metal set!

Prophecy Fest 2026 will bring dark, forward thinking music with an attitude to one of the world’s most fascinating cultural locations, the legendary, natural Balve Cave. The three-day event will commence on Thursday, September 3 and it will conclude with a final concert starting before midnight of Saturday, September 5. The price for a 3-Day-Pass 2026 remains at 149 € (plus 10% service charge).
